India poised! thus goes the slogan of a campaign run by a newspaper house. May be they are true. Not that we won't like them to be true. It is just the way that this campaign is being carried out which makes the whole concept shallow, to say the least. On one hand they talk about people in different fields doing something for the nation in their own ways and on the other hand they talk about aishwarya rai. Well,who doesn't like thinking about aishwarya but what on earth does one have to do with the sindoor smeared on her forehead. Who gives a damn about her engagement or amar singh's presence at her engagement! Another thing that has come up in this campaign is India becoming a soft power.No doubt, India is fast becoming a soft power but we need to take it in the right sense.We can't see India as a soft power just because people in Afghanistan can't stop themselves from watching "Kyunki saans bhi kabhi bahu thi".
